GUVLAB (Reliability Assessment Laboratory) www.uzay.tubitak.gov.tr/guvenilirlik

Reliability Assessment Laboratory is established within the facility of TÜBİTAK UZAY Space Technologies Research Institute which has always been a pioneer on technologic improvements in Turkey. Along with the foundation of this laboratory, it is aimed to conduct reliability tests and analyses of electronic devices that are in design, in production line or already in the field. By obtaining the reliability assessments of their products through provided reliability tests and analyses, the producers will have very big advantage in the sector in time-to-market regard when they aimed to introduce high reliable products in the competitive international market of high-end technology electronics field.

In our Reliability Laboratory, all reliability analyses and tests are performed according to the applied international standards. Possible failure modes and failure tendency sites in electronic assemblies can be determined and investigated. As the reliability analysis outcome, failure estimation and lifetime prediction data are provided in quantitative matters. Suggestions are given on making revisions of applied design and manufacturing process in order to improve the reliability of the electronic product in concern.


KERMİT
A Graphical Interface Control Card (KERMIT) Design, developed for the firm ARÇELİK, which will be used as an smart user interface in various products.

PURPOSE
Development of a smart user interface for white goods sector.

SYSTEM DEFINITION
The graphical system is composed of, LCD, LCD driver, graphical buffers, graphical memories and funtions operation over this buffers. Although the system includes specifications special to KERMİT, it has a general structure which can operate graphical functions on any system.
